First phase of PROACTIS P2P rolled-out at the University of Bristol

The University of Bristol has gone live with the first phase of its PROACTIS Spend Control platform, which is being deployed to 1,000 members of University staff. The project has been managed by leading PROACTIS solution provider, Touchstone, who have also successfully integrated PROACTIS with the University's financial management system.

The University of Bristol is the latest in a line of education establishments to take advantage of the benefits of PROACTIS Spend Control. The University of Leeds is in the process of implementing the PROACTIS Contract Management module and the University of Birmingham is a long-established user of the PROACTIS Spend Control platform. Furthermore, many larger further education colleges including Milton Keynes College, Yorkshire Coast College and Shipley College have all made the decision to control indirect costs using PROACTIS.

On April 6th, PROACTIS will attend the British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG) meeting in Leeds to discuss ways in which its software is helping Universities to take control of costs to enable them to squeeze more from their operating budgets as well as improve the management of research grants and contract income.
