PROACTIS goes live at Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust
The Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust is now live with PROACTIS SRM, eSourcing and Contract Management. The Trust is the latest in a line of public authorities to adopt the Strategic Procurement suite from Proactis Group.
The Trust will initially use the system to source valuable and highly sensitive radiology equipment for the hospital, with suppliers' tenders being automatically evaluated online by the PROACTIS system. A further roll-out across other business units of the Trust is planned over the next 9 months. The PROACTIS system is configured to allow spend and savings to be monitored and reported on right down to Department level and will ensure efficiency gains throughout the procurement cycle.
Martyn Howard-Evans, Head of Procurement at the Trust said, "The use of PROACTIS will enable us to provide greater involvement for our customers in the procurement and contract management process, developing relationships that give rise to speedy, informed and cost effective decisions that will bring projects in on time and on budget."
