NEP Visions to Implement PROACTIS Spend Control
PROACTIS partner, LAKE, announced that it is to supply and implement PROACTIS Spend Control and Infor FMS SunSystems. The order for software includes PROACTIS Spend Management, PROACTIS Expenses Management and Vision for PROACTIS.
NEP Visions (Visions) is the largest independent Outside Broadcast Facilities Company in the UK and amongst the largest in Europe. Visions is part of the NEP Broadcasting group of companies, the largest Outside Broadcast operator in the USA.
Richard Holland, Finance Director for Visions, explains the context for system change:
"The fundamental driver is to improve business efficiency. That is, to drive more effective use of resources, to improve both the speed and accuracy of management information, and, primarily, to enable better control and decision making...

The selection of the solution followed a competitive process that included a comprehensive review of alternatives. Richard Holland makes the following comments about the selection of the PROACTIS solution:

Secondly, we needed a system that would have the flexibility to meet the special requirements of our operations. Our company is involved in the provision of facilities; it had to have the capability to add in the hiring of kit. This could not be a vanilla purchase order system...
