RSPCA Extends PROACTIS Solution with Supplier Management

PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced that existing customer the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), is extending its PROACTIS spend control solution with supplier management - a solution that enables organisations to reduce cost and build relationships for best value procurement.

The RSPCA is currently using the PROACTIS purchasing solution to manage the indirect procurement of all its goods and services. By automating the purchase-to-pay process, the RSPCA is able to reduce the administrative effort involved in raising, authorising and processing orders.

The PROACTIS supplier management solution will provide even greater efficiencies by streamlining the supplier lifecycle, from initial identification through adoption, approval, transacting and analysis - reducing administrative effort in supplier management alone by up to 80%.

PROACTIS has been experiencing increased interest from organisations, across the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors, looking to better understand and manage their supplier base. PROACTIS provides a web-based central repository of all suppliers, with a self-service function that makes it easy for suppliers to provide the necessary information and reduces the amount of time and effort required by the buyer to communicate and engage with suppliers.

The RSPCA will integrate the supplier management solution to their PROACTIS purchasing solution and SAGE 500 finance system which will ensure all purchases are made through approved suppliers and best value is achieved.
