Goals Soccer Centres Completes Procurement Systems Project with PROACTIS
PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced the completion of a Purchase-to-Pay system project for an operator of a growing network of 33 five-a-side soccer centres, Goals Soccer Centres.
Goals' objectives for the project were to implement an eProcurement system that would automate their Purchase-to-Pay processes, delivering efficiency across the business, between users, budget holders and finance specialists, and ensure accurate performance data at all times. PROACTIS' intuitive and easy-to-use interface and flexible authorisation and workflow rules, along with its ability to integrate smoothly with the finance system, helped make the project a success.
"With our network of 33 centres set to expand, we needed to streamline our procurement processes with a system that was flexible enough to support our growth and could integrate to our finance system," said Bill Gow, Finance Director at Goals. "Within six weeks of making our initial enquiry we were implementing PROACTIS. It is now live across the whole UK network and is delivering savings. PROACTIS provides full visibility of branch purchase orders as soon as they are committed so we can avoid duplications and ensure that only approved suppliers are used, which means we always get the best value deal. In addition, the amount of time and effort spent by the Accounts department in invoice matching has dramatically reduced."
National Operations Manager for Goals, Scott Kerr adds "As we grow the business, one of the biggest challenges is maintaining consistent processes. When the number of centres and therefore purchases increase, PROACTIS will ensure that corporate procedures are adhered to and every branch is following the same process."
Goals is now live and running with PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay across 33 distributes, and offers seamless integration to their finance system.
