University of Birmingham Integrates PROACTIS to its Catering Management System
The University of Birmingham extends its purchasing efficiency by integrating its Kinetics catering solution to PROACTIS.
Now when catering orders are placed within Kinetics, they are automatically passed into the PROACTIS purchasing solution and routed to the appropriate person for authorisation. Once approved, orders are automatically transferred to CODA-Financials, ready for payment. This reduces costs, increases visibility and improves controls of the purchasing process.
PROACTIS is already in use throughout the University's various departments by casual requisitioners for the purchase of indirect goods and services. The Procurement team also use PROACTIS to establish and manage preferred supplier agreements, making it easy for any staff to buy against those agreements with little administration. In addition, PROACTIS streamlines the supplier invoicing process, automatically reconciling invoices against orders and delivery information and streamlining the process of troubleshooting problem invoices.
