UK top 50 law firm reduces costs and enhances corporate controls with PROACTIS Spend Control
PROACTIS today announced that leading UK law firm, Hill Dickinson, is to implement the PROACTIS best-in-class spend control solution through accredited partner, ADERANT. The solution will be integrated to ADERANT Expert financials to manage the firm's procurement, disbursement and expense processes.
Now in its 200th year of practice, Hill Dickinson is one of the UK's top 50 law firms with 1,200 staff across multiple locations, including Liverpool, Manchester, London, Chester, Piraeus and Singapore. Clients include multi-national companies, major corporations and UK plcs, as well as public and professional bodies, public sector organisations and private individuals.
With impressive growth over the past few years, Hill Dickinson recognised the opportunity to streamline their purchasing activities to provide greater control and auditability over their spend.

With PROACTIS employees initiate a purchase for items or services easily online. Account codes are automatically assigned based on who is requesting the item, what they are buying, which department they belong to etc. This eliminates data entry issues and ensures that purchase requests are properly coded up front. The purchase requests are electronically accessed by managers where they are approved online, via a PDA or email before the company is committed.
