BDO LLP Selects PROACTIS Cloud-Based eProcurement Solution

- PROACTIS, the spend control and eProcurement specialist, today announced that BDO LLP has initiated a project to automate its purchase-to-pay processes with a cloud eProcurement solution from PROACTIS.
- BDO LLP is the award-winning UK member firm of the BDO international network, the world's fifth largest accountancy firm, with more than 1,000 offices in over 100 countries.
- With an indirect spend of £70m per year, BDO LLP will use PROACTIS to rationalise and streamline the whole purchasing process under one system and improve the tracking and accounting of purchases.
- The cloud-based system will ultimately provide real-time visibility of commitments and the ability to forecast payment values and better manage budgets.
- The accountancy firm will also use the eProcurement solution to achieve operational advantages in Accounts Payable by streamlining the receipt of invoices and allowing for proper matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices.
- The PROACTIS cloud eProcurement solution will be implemented across 13 regional offices and integrated to BDO's PeopleSoft ERP to reduce processing costs.
